ARISC Graduate/Postdoctoral Fellowships
ARISC announces the availability of US graduate/postdoctoral fellowships in support of research in the South Caucasus (Armenia, Azerbaijan, and/or Georgia). Awards will be made for a maximum of $1500 each. Projects in all fields in the social sciences, humanities and related sciences are eligible. The purpose of the fellowship is to help cover travel and/or living expenses in the South Caucasus. Due date: Friday, December 29, 2017.

ARISC Collaborative Heritage Management Grant in the Republic of Armenia

ARISC invites proposals from collaborative teams in support of the preservation and conservation of the Republic of Armenia’s archaeological and historical heritage. This ARISC program, generously funded by Project Discovery! and donors, seeks to foster joint work between American and Armenian scholars and institutions dedicated to the proper curation and preservation of heritage materials such as artifacts, sites, and manuscripts. These grants require active participation of both American and Armenian principal investigators in all aspects of the collaborative project. Grants will typically not exceed $4000.

Two Additional ARISC Funding Opportunities
ARISC invites applications for U.S. scholars to conduct lectures and/or workshops in the South Caucasus countries of Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia. All topics in the social sciences, humanities, and related sciences are eligible, and a list of preferred topics is included on our website. Selected applicants will be given a $200 stipend for a lecture, or $500 for an all-day workshop. See the full call on our website http://arisc.org/?page_id=4659#Lectures. All information must be received by Wednesday, November 1, 2017, in order for the applicant to be considered for the priority deadline.
ARISC invites requests for co-sponsorship funds for events related to the South Caucasus. All topics in the social sciences, humanities, and related sciences are eligible, and events must take place either in Armenia, Azerbaijan, or Georgia. All information must be received by Wednesday, November 1, 2017, in order for the applicant to be considered for the priority deadline.
