The American Research Institute of the South Caucasus (ARISC) is looking to fill an Internship position in Baku, Azerbaijan.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Duties include updating our country guides, assisting with organization of local talks and reading groups; providing research and logistical support for visiting scholars and students, including ARISC Fellows; assisting with data collection projects; maintaining regular communication with the Resident Director (and Executive Director as needed).
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
– Professional-level fluency in English and Azerbaijani languages;
– Excellent communication skills;
– Good organizational skills with the ability to process and classify information quickly and efficiently;
– Good IT knowledge, familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and conducting Internet research.
The internship is a volunteer one for up to 10 hours a week, for a negotiable length of time, and is compensated with symbolic stipend and an annual Student Membership to ARISC. The selected candidate will start as of May.
