The Department of Middle East Studies invites applications for a part-time Lecturer I position beginning August 29, 2022.
The successful candidate will teach ARMENIAN 101: Western Armenian I (4 credits) and Armenian 201: Intermediate Western Armenian I (4 credits).
ARMENIAN 201 is a continuation of ARMENIAN 101/102. Instructor will lead students in reading, conversation, and composition. A balanced approach giving equal emphasis to the development of language skills and the study of Armenian culture must be employed.
Required Qualifications:
Successful candidate must have an MA in a relevant field of study and near-native fluency in both Armenian and English languages.
Desired Qualifications:
Applicants should have an excellent record of teaching college-level courses in the field of Middle East Studies.
