Since 1986, a consortium of Cambridge Colleges has invited scholars in universities and institutes around the world to spend a month in Cambridge with the objective of advancing research and cultivating scholarly exchange.
This year, in partnership with the Open Society Foundations and with the support of CamCREES, the consortium welcomes applications from scholars from selected countries in Central and Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union, which are currently: Armenia, Georgia and Ukraine.
Scholars must be of post-doctoral or equivalent status who are faculty members of their universities or research institutes and engaged in a programme of study which can be carried out in Cambridge for one month during the summer vacation period between July and September 2013. Applicants may wish to work in libraries completing a book, creating a new syllabus, or accessing new publications to which they do not have access at home. They may wish to develop working relationships with Cambridge-based academic specialists in their field of study.
