Caspian Fellowship Program

Caspian Strategy Institute (HASEN) “Fellowship Program” is an annual certificate program to be held between August 12-28, 2013. The program is an educational endeavor that provides opportunities to analyze and learn energy, foreign policy, security and economic issues of the Caspian region. In the program, the lectures and seminars are to be taught by academicians, policy makers and business executives.

The program is designed for young researchers, executives and diplomats from the Caspian Region and is limited to 20 participants only. Lectures and seminars will be given in the first two weeks of the program followed by the participant presentations in the final week of the program.

The program is not limited to lectures and seminars, during the program the participants will visit several Turkish government institutions such as Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Transportation, National Security Council and the Parliament. These visits will provide a valuable opportunity to get first hand policy information.

In addition to the courses, participants will have the chance to visit historical places in Istanbul such as Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosgue, Topkapı Palace  as a part of Cultural Program.

Successful participants will be awarded with a certificate by the Caspian Strategy Institute.

The language of instruction is English.

Application Requirements

Requirements for admission to the Fellowship Program are same for both Turkish and International participants

Participants must;

-Have a Master’s degree or PhD

-Candidates studying energy, foreign policy and conflict issues regarding the Caspian Region, Caucasus and Central Asia will be preferred.
