Module description: Two modules are offered here, one is a library database research assignment, the other a critical reading of Maika Lehmann’s article, “Apricot Socialism: The National Past, the Soviet Project, and the Imagining of Community in Late Soviet Armenia.” In the first, students will learn how to conduct searches on different library resources. In the second, the instructor will guide students in how to critically read a peer-reviewed article.
