Generous scholarships are available from American Councils and can be combined with other sources of financial aid to help cover program costs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please share this information with any interested colleagues or students.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Applications for the following programs are due October 15, 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.studyabroad.americancouncils.org\/rlaspbaltics\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Baltics, NATO, and Russia<\/a>&nbsp;&#8211; Tallinn, Estonia &#8211; English-taught area studies programming with supplemental Russian language, open to all levels (including absolute beginners). Offers academic credit in International Relations, Political Science, Sociology, and Russian (or Estonian language, should students prefer to take Estonian over Russian). Semester.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.studyabroad.americancouncils.org\/rlaspcaucasus\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Caucasus Today<\/a>&nbsp;&#8211; Yerevan, Armenia &#8211; English-taught area studies programming with supplemental Russian language, open to all levels (including absolute beginners). Offers academic credit in International Relations, Political Science, Sociology, and Russian (or Armenian language, should students prefer to take Armenian over Russian). Semester.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.studyabroad.americancouncils.org\/socialentrepreneurship\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Social Entrepreneurship: Community and Innovation in Central Asia<\/a>&nbsp;&#8211; Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan &#8211; English-taught program focusing on identifying socially conscious solutions to pertinent issues in developing countries, focusing on communities in Bishkek and throughout Central Asia. Kyrgyz or Russian language options available.
