While a graduate degree from the United States can be seen as an asset in the job market, the application process can be both foreign and expensive for international applicants. \nTalin Lindsay has been working in university administration in the US for eleven years. She has served as the Graduate Program Assistant in the Department of Germanic, Slavic and Semitic Studies as well as the Comparative Literature Program at the University of California, Santa Barbara for four years. Since 2010, Ms. Lindsay has been the Graduate Program Assistant in the Department of Anthropology at Purdue University.
