The Department of History at Central European University (CEU) invites applications for an Assistant Professor position in the field of Soviet and Post-Soviet History. Scholars with Central Asian and\/or Caucasian research interest are encouraged to apply. In keeping with the Department\u2019s strong emphasis on interdisciplinary, comparative and cross-cultural studies, we seek applicants whose teaching and research accommodate contemporary approaches in social, political, gender, or cultural history. Applicants should hold a PhD degree and have excellent command of the Russian language.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
