These\n grants are to assist scholars wishing to pursue research in the area of\n arts, humanities and social science research, relating to the \nPersianate world, particularly Iran, Afghanistan, Central Asia, \nTranscaucasia, Iraq, the Persian Gulf littoral and South Asia. Subject \nareas include, but are not limited to: Art, Anthropology, \nArchaeology, Classics, Cultural Studies, History, Language, Literature, \nPolitics, Religious Studies, and Sociology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Research grant applicants must hold a PhD (or equivalent) and currently work at a UK higher educational institution (university, museum or similar). While a limited number of travel grants are offered for students, funding is mainly reserved for career academics and equivalent professionals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
