The Vahe & Armine Meghrouni Lecture Series present, \u201cThe\nThirty Year Genocide: Turkey\u2019s Destruction of Its Christian Minorities,\n1894-1924\u201d by Benny Morris, Historian and Journalist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Benny Morris was formerly a professor of history in the Middle East Studies Department of Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. He is the author of 1948: A History of the First Arab-Israeli War. Morris’s work on the Arab\u2013Israeli conflict and the Israeli\u2013Palestinian conflict has won praise and criticism from both sides of the political divide. He will present his new book (co-authored with Dror Ze\u2019evi) The Thirty Year Genocide: Turkey\u2019s Destruction of Its Christian Minorities, 1894-1924.
