{"id":6830,"date":"2019-12-09T02:29:44","date_gmt":"2019-12-09T02:29:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arisc.org\/?p=6830"},"modified":"2019-12-09T02:30:44","modified_gmt":"2019-12-09T02:30:44","slug":"cfa-vartan-gregorian-scholarship-research-grants-program","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arisc.org\/?p=6830","title":{"rendered":"CFA: Vartan Gregorian Scholarship \/ Research Grants Program"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Deadline: December 15, 2019<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SCHOLARSHIP:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>\n\tThe Vartan Gregorian Scholarship (Research Grants) Program is focused on the 20th Century Armenian History.\n\t<\/li><li>\n\tThe research grant will offer up to two grants in total amount of USD 30,000, covering research, travel, and publications.\n\t<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>ELIGIBILITY:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>\n\tThe\n research grants are targeted at early career historians, social \nscientists, and researchers under the age of 40, specializing in \nArmenian History. The research grants in the current phase (phase II) \nare intended for Armenian citizens and Armenians in the Diaspora. \nSubsequent years will be expanded to international historians (phase \nIII).\n\t<\/li><li>\n\tGroup of researchers are also eligible to apply, as long as the group lead meets the criteria.\n\t<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>APPLICATION PERIOD AND REQUIREMENTS:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>\n\tThe\n application process will be conducted online through Aurora \nHumanitarian Initiative\u2019s website from 12 October 2019 to 15 December \n2019. The applicants will be requested to submit:\n\n\t<ul><li>Research proposal in English (maximum of 2000 words, double-spaced, 12-pt font)<br>\n\t\t&nbsp;<\/li><li>CV with a list of publications<br>\n\t\t&nbsp;<\/li><li>Cover letter<br>\n\t\t&nbsp;<\/li><li>At least two letters of recommendation from an established scholar<\/li><\/ul>\n\t<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>SELECTION:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>\n\tThe Selection Board is comprised of five prominent individuals:\n\n\t<ul><li>\n\t\t<strong>Ronald G.
