The Senior Researcher \/ Researcher is expected to participate in designing, analyzing, and communicating CRRC-Georgia\u2019s research outputs. This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week with a minimum time commitment of two years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Principal Duties:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Work on research design, data analysis and report writing as required for the organization\u2019s projects;<\/li><li>Contribute to the organization\u2019s outreach activities, including writing blogs and news articles, as well as presenting research findings;<\/li><li>Participate in planning and implementing of the organization\u2019s data collection efforts, including interviewer training, fieldwork control, data collection documentation, and data management;<\/li><li>Carry out&nbsp;trainings&nbsp;in social science research methods.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Excellent knowledge of social, political, and economic trends in the South Caucasus;<\/li><li>Excellent understanding of research methods in social sciences, particularly in quantitative methods;<\/li><li>Strong willingness to master and apply new research tools and methods;<\/li><li>Ability and willingness to work in small teams with other researchers;<\/li><li>Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English language;<\/li><li>Preference for strong written and verbal communication skills in Georgian.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>MA degree or higher in economics, public policy, sociology, psychology, education or any other field of social sciences;<\/li><li>Proficient in statistical data analysis software (e.g. R; Stata; SPSS; Python);<\/li><li>At least three years of experience in survey data collection and \/ or quantitative data analysis.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Application process:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please send your CV, cover letter, and a writing sample to&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:applications@crrccenters.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">applications@crrccenters.org<\/a>&nbsp;by&nbsp;<strong>October 5, 2020<\/strong>.
