TEACH in Armenia

If you’re looking for opportunities to live and work in Armenia for an extended period, the Armenian Volunteer Corps newest program TEACH might be just what you’re looking for.

TEACH is a special ten-month program offering volunteer service opportunities to native English speakers to serve in middle schools and high schools in Armenia complementing the existing curriculum and helping to develop leadership, civic responsibility, and global awareness through English language learning.

To be eligible for TEACH, applicants must be at least 21 years of age, have received a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university by August 1st, and be available for ten full months of service beginning August 15.

TEACH volunteers will receive:
Round Trip Airfare via reimbursement
Housing and breakfast with a host family
A stipend consistent with local living standards
Training and support
Eastern Armenian language classes
The opportunity to participate in forums/gatherings
The opportunity to participate in periodic excursions throughout Armenia
