Position of an Intern/Assistant to Edutor, Public Defender’s Office Georgia

Public Defender’s Office (PDO) of Georgia is looking for an intern/assistant to the editor, who will help our office in copy editing English language materials for publications and webpages.

Public Defender’s Office, specialized in human rights monitoring and protection, therefore, it is desirable that a candidate has some background in human rights or legal studies (not its not obligatory).

The candidate should be native English speaker or very, very fluent.

It will not be a paid job, but, PDO offers – participation in various PDO activities: conferences, seminars, training – access to PDO library – Intern will familiarize with the human rights situation in Georgia, learn about the context and developments – certificate upon the completion of the internship – nice and interesting working environment.

Internships in Georgia usually last from 3 to 6 months, but, the duration can be negotiated.
